A belief in a deity is not a prerequisite for tarot - some of my favourite clients are openly atheistic and agnostic.
We might not use the same points of reference or terminology, but who cares? At the end of the day we are all humans having a human experience, and there is plenty we still don't understand.

Tarot provides helpful insight and solid advice. If it didn't, I'd have abandoned it years ago! It's not just spiritual, it's practical and psychological . It is for anyone interested in the human story, and with how our relationship with ourselves can change our lives.
Sometimes all we need is a fresh lens to view our world, and that's enough to show us what needs adjusting.

My Beloved Guide, Crow
Crow is my spirit guide.
He refers to himself as a Multidimensional Being.
He comes in the form of a crow, raven or human shaman. When he first showed up in human form he scared the crap out of me with his crazy hair and makeup!
I ignored him for ages.
Nearly a decade later, while leafing through a book, I happened upon a photo of a tribe sporting exactly the same goth/punk look - it blew my mind!
The Crow Tribe were Native Plains Indians. They still exist.
Spirit is unpredictable and cool as sh*t.

He's funny. He shoots from the hip and he's a great dancer! His knowledge of magical practice always astounds me.
To me, he is Ancestor, Muse, Messenger, Teacher & Friend.
I wouldn't be without him. I love him dearly.
